Sustainable Creativity Lab (SCL), which conducts research activities based on the long-term vision of SOLIZE Holdings Corporation and upholds the concept of "creating inherently beautiful things," and TAKT PROJECT Inc., a design studio known for numerous experimental projects that challenge existing frameworks, are jointly hosting an exhibition called "Lessons in Relating: Dialogue with Trees #100," which explores new design possibilities through natural materials and digital technology.

SCL and TAKT PROJECT have been conducting joint research since last year.
This exhibition features works that explore new approaches to craftsmanship, presenting them as masterful attempts to express digital technology as an entity that expands the capabilities of both materials and the people who engage with them. Please come and see the works at the venue.

Exhibits

Walk through the forest, touch the trees and branches, and collect anything that catches your eye.
View them, digitize them with a 3D scanner, and observe them from a digital perspective as an extension of ourselves. Then, with the help of technology, even the inherent shape, mechanical imbalance, and weight of the branches come alive and feel vividly real.
There, you'll feel compelled to speak to it, to gently touch it. This impulse is then shaped into branches using tools like 3D printers.
The born object has neither purpose nor function.
It is a record of the study on the relationship between the natural material of a branch and the forest in which it grew.
