2he exhibition will be held to present the results of the joint research of the Kanazawa College Of Art, SKY Perfect JSAT Holdings Inc., and Suzuki Motor Corporation, which has been conducted since 2020.
Two major external factors--the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia's invasion of Ukraine--have profoundly shaken the world. This has caused global supply chains to break down, and we are now experiencing an era where what was once taken for granted no longer holds true.
In addition, the dramatic evolution of generative AI is poised to give rise to the 21st century industrial revolution. At this moment of profound transformation, we are called not merely to "change," but to "re-examine the meaning of everything and recreate new value." So, how can we rebuild society and industry to connect students' creativity to the future?
The theme of the 6th Visionary Thinking is "New Transformation." This research involved 20 third-year students majoring in Industrial Design and one first-year graduate student. On the first day, Friday, September 26th, only the opening event will be held (first 60 people). The keynote speech, "The Present and Future of AI," will be given by Honorary Professor and Journalist Nobuyuki Hayashi, followed by public presentations by the 21 students.
