We will feature a presentation of works by five young corporate designers who participated in the IED Summer Training Program, as well as a report from Professor Inoue, based in Italy, on sponsored projects at the IED's undergraduate and graduate schools, and an overview of the latest trends in European design and the electric vehicle (EV) industry. We invite designers, management, and students to join us.

Lecturer profile
Masato Inoue
Professor of transportation design at the IED (Istitute Europeo di Design) in Turin, Italy. After graduating from an arts center in California, he began designing concept cars for Nissan Motor Company. Before taking up his current position, he led the development of the Nissan LEAF (the world's first mass-produced electric vehicle), and went on to teach design at several universities. He currently teaches in Turin, Italy, and is the chairman of Green Mobility Partners and Masato Inoue Design & Consulting, both of which work to promote EVs.
