"Tempera" a graduation exhibition for Joshibi University of Art and Design Department of Cross-Disciplinary Art and Design Field of Fashion and Textile

This is an exhibition of graduation projects by senior students. The title "Tempera" refers to a paint that uses emulsifying substances, such as eggs, as an adhesive. "Tempera" also means "to mix" in Italian. The students serve as the "eggs," and their four years of university experience act as the "pigments." This metaphor implies that, before entering the workforce, students blend their diverse experiences at the university, creating a unique "paint" that will color their future paths. A wide variety of works will be exhibited at the venue, ranging from clothing to three-dimensional art. Please take a look at these works that are full of individuality and unique to Joshibi students.
