he Japan Industrial Design Association (JIDA) is holding the JIDA Design Museum Selection, its annual event for archiving outstanding designs. This year's selection is the 26th in the series, and 61 products have been chosen. The exhibition will present all of them under one roof. Not only new products that have never existed before, but also products that have become necessities in our daily lives. For example, dryers or rice cookers. These have been chosen for the selection many times up until now. This is because the market changes in response to the changing society, and products continue to evolve as well. The exhibition venue will also have panels with background information such as what made the products stand out, what the designers were aiming for, and so on. All in all, it'll be a not-to-be-missed chance to enjoy some new discoveries and learn more about industrial design today.
