As an international exchange project held by the Japan Package Design Association (JPDA), the design seminar "Archaeology of the Future -Future Memories-" will be held at AXIS Gallery with a lecture by Tsuyoshi Tane, an architect based in Paris, France, who does work internationally. In all of the projects that he is involved in, Tane conducts a large amount of archaeological research and studies, which he uses to draw forth memories from places where his projects are set. Using those memories as his foundation, he then generates ideas for architecture that create the future. In this seminar, Tane will discuss his ideation process based on his philosophy as an architect, and his thoughts on design in the future. It is sure to stimulate visitors' intellectual curiosity.
