KOYORI, an alliance-based brand that launched globally at the design museum Triennale Milano in June of this year, will finally launch in Japan this fall. To commemorate its debut in Japan, an exhibition will be held at AXIS Gallery. The exhibition will feature five wooden chair models by Paris-based Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec and the Copenhagen-based design studio GamFratesi. They were produced by the companies Hida Sangyo, which specializes in pure bentwood furniture, and Tendo Mokko, which possesses excellent molded plywood technology. This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the world view of this new brand, formed by world-leading designers and furniture makers that represent Japanese manufacturing. Please do come see it.

KOYORI
KOYORI is an alliance formed by leading manufacturers from all over Japan with companies that will showcase their products to the world. It collaborates with designers from across the globe. In doing so, the brand aims to deliver reliable, high-quality furniture and interior accessories with designs that transcend borders. The brand's name comes from the Japanese word for "twisted paper cords," which are the main material used in Mizuhiki: the paper strings traditionally used in Japan on ceremonial occasions. It also carries the meaning of "connections." https://www.koyori-jp.com/
