NOMAD, an importer and seller of Northern European lifestyle brands, will hold the World of MOEBE exhibition, where visitors can immerse themselves in the world of Copenhagen-based design studio MOEBE. It designs everything in-house, aiming for simple and beautiful designs with carefully thought-out structures based on architectural thinking. In recent years, it has been highly praised for not only its sense of product design, but also its design philosophy and attitude toward manufacturing among other things, and it is attracting even more attention both in Japan and abroad for pushing Danish design. Its newest works will be announced at this exhibition, which will feature talks regarding the story behind the brand's creation and its philosophy, an assembly demonstration, a real-life styling zone, and more, allowing visitors to learn about MOEBE from many different perspectives. MOEBE
MOEBE is a Northern European design studio based in Copenhagen that makes products, furniture, and interior items. It was founded in 2014 by architects Martin de Neergaard Christensen and Nicholas Oldroyd, and cabinet maker Anders Thams. It designs everything in-house, aiming for simple and beautiful designs with carefully thought-out structures based on architectural thinking. Its products are made of parts that can be easily repaired, assembled, and recycled, based on the belief that good design is sustainable in itself. Its popular works include Frame, which consists of an acrylic board with frame pieces connected to it by rubber bands, and the Shelving System, which uses wedges to connect shelves. In recent years, it has been highly praised for not only its sense of product design, but also its design philosophy and attitude toward manufacturing among other things, and it is attracting even more attention both in Japan and abroad for pushing Danish design.
