"Metamorphosis": Quiet Creatures on the Wall--Haruka Sano Exhibition

To form, transform, and maintain one's identity while constantly changing--that is what I aspire to be.

Haruka Sano

Haruka Sano creates a unique sculptural world by drawing on the distinct characteristics of both pottery clay and porcelain clay. With organic forms, freely undulating lines, and intricately layered colors, her works exude a beautiful and distinctive presence.
In this exhibition, she takes on a new challenge: expanding her plant-inspired works--which previously existed as freestanding pieces--onto the walls. We invite you to experience Ms. Sano's ever-evolving sculptural world.
