Satoko Narita Exhibition「Those Who Fight」

 I created this work hoping to humorously express
the strength that people have in their hearts,
even when they feel depressed, discouraged, or hopeless about many things,
and yet they still have the strength to face those things and keep living

There is no need for explanation or words to describe her three-dimensional works, which combine different materials such as glass and wood. They are made by an elaborate process that requires time and effort; the glass is made in the pâte de verre (glass paste) technique, and the wood is carved and shaped by the artist. We hope you will enjoy the peaceful and healing world of Satoko Narita's works at the exhibition.
