A Thematic Exhibition on Rotation by 14 Creators Connected to siro
siro exhibition is a project-based exhibition where creators inside and outside of siro gather to explore a single theme through free and open expression. Fourteen participants, including engineers, designers, and artists, come together for the second edition, titled "It Turns".
The word "rotation" can have a technical meaning, such as the movement of a motor. However, it is also used in contexts that do not involve circular motion, such as customer turnover in a shop. Rephrased as "to turn," the word opens up broader possibilities for imagination.
In "It Turns", each participant interprets the concept of turning in their own way. They present their interpretations through various approaches, including mechanisms, light, sound, image, and interaction. What is turning, and what is not? We invite you to interpret freely, let your imagination wander, and enjoy the world of turning.

Title:SEN-AN
Event period Friday, October 31 to Sunday, November9, 2025
Time 11:00-19:00

Between Timeframes|SEN-AN is a spatial experiment that reconstructs the traditional culture of the tea room and re-examines "the Japanese sensibility" in the present day. Historically, the tearoom was a place to calm the mind and sharpen perception in harmony with nature. Its essence lies not in style, but in serving as a "spiritual apparatus" that reconsiders time, space, and relationships. This work inherits that spirit while deviating in terms of material and structure, creating a space that stimulates sensitivity through "form" and "ma (interval/emptiness)." We adopted the non-traditional material LGS, redefining it not through modernism but as a "structure that reflects time," presenting it as a mirror of life in industrialized society.
