Yui Asami Solo Exhibition｜Unmanifested　

It is made by utilizing a variety of techniques, such as dry lacquer, mother-of-pearl, lacquer, and urushi paint.
I created this piece based on the concept of a box seen from the outside,
a box that contains something,and the potential of what is hidden within the box.

This is the first solo exhibition in Tokyo by artist Yui Asami, who has a studio in Kanazawa.
Last year, she was awarded the Kanazawa Mayor's Top Prize at the 80th Kanazawa Craft Exhibition.
