"A Feast of Pottery Connecting Time ―Jingdezhen & Lacquerware Japan―"　

This is an exhibition by "WELLBEING TOKYO," which proposes a well-being lifestyle. Contemporary Jingdezhen porcelains will be presented along with Japanese lacquer.

This exhibition features works by ceramic artists who are renowned around the world, including porcelains that revived the techniques of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty, a city of ceramics with a thousand years of history, and are vividly colored using only mineral pigments, as well as tea utensils with intricate carvings on porcelain so thin it is almost translucent. This exhibition combines the beauty of modern Jingdezhen with Japanese lacquer art to present it as a new form of chinoiserie.
