Ikuko Ogawa Kiriko Exhibition

This is a solo exhibition of Ogawa, a Kiriko (traditional Japanese glass cutting) artist raised in Koto Ward--an area renowned for Edo Kiriko. Under the guidance of master craftsmen, Ogawa has inherited not only the exceptional techniques of traditional glass cutting but also the artistic sensibility that defines the craft. Ogawa's works showcase a compelling fusion of bold, dynamic cuts and meticulously rendered traditional motifs. Each piece embodies a fresh sense of creativity while expressing a deep reverence for the time-honored heritage of Kiriko.
