Tomoko Takama Exhibition

A solo exhibition of Tomoko Takama, an artist who creates works using the technique of layered porcelain, will be held. 
The work is finished in a very labor-intensive process, where the colored layers of the porcelain are created by repeatedly casting several layers of colored mud plaster with pigments. Then the color is designed and decorated by engraving at varying depths. The theme work for this exhibition, "Hanakotoba," is a piece that has been worked on for many years that expresses events, resolutions, and joys of daily life, which is unlike her usual works.
