CACAZAN

This is a factory brand run by Naohito Izuishi, a glove craftsman with some 40 years of experience in the trade. He makes driving gloves and a host of other kinds besides, and is based in Kagawa Prefecture--where some 90% of all the gloves made in Japan are produced. While the division of tasks like preparing the materials and doing the actual sewing continues to progress in the glove industry as a whole, CACAZAN handles the whole process--from cutting to sewing--all in one factory. CACAZAN gloves are finished to perfection through craftsmanship that adapts itself to the subtle individual properties of each piece of material, and is wielded with an outstanding sense of balance from beginning to end.

In the Japanese glove industry, CACAZAN stands out as a company where seasoned artisans pour their hearts into every stage of the craft, from choosing the materials, to doing the sewing work, and adding the perfect finish. Our production efficiency may be extremely poor, but we can make gloves invested with heart--and of a quality that mass production could never hope to achieve. I know this for a fact, having spent many years doing mass production work myself. "I want people to use good things for a very long time!" This is what I wish for. ― Naohito Izuishi
