"dakkoen" Kenji Gomi Exhibition

Kenji Gomi, who continues to create works while sincerely asking himself to explore the original meaning of ceramic art, "Let's try to explain ceramic art logically."
What I think now...
"I have continued to make ceramics, and an object that became my masterpiece was born.
And by understanding ceramics in my own way, I learned that I enjoy making ceramics."
It seems that he finds it interesting to make use of the transition of techniques he has acquired, such as abstract shapes that are particular about the material and firing method of clay, shapes that look like something, and combinations of different textures.
"By learning to enjoy something different, I have a better balance between my previous perspective and my own," says Mr. Gomi.
As an extension of the theme of the exhibition held in 2018, "Dogu", it looks like a paradise coined by Mr. Gomi called "Dakkoen".
