All of Aico Tsumori's works are fun and cheerful, but somehow cynical, and there are characters who look ahead with a smile on their backs as they carry the story behind them.
And above all, it is carefully made by making full use of her techniques as her pottery, sparing no effort. At the end of 2019, when I saw a drawing of a young lady I brought home from nursery school, I wanted to make it into a shape, so I started making three-dimensional objects.
"Recently, I feel like I'm making an animation based on a child's drawing, and I'm adding my own story to the production.''
This time, the theme is a girl with sparkling eyes, named after the title "Kira Kira no Anoko".
This is a solo exhibition that is ambitiously working on, including previously unpublished works.
