Two-person exhibition at Savoir Vivre for the first time in nine years.
Tomoko Takama's work begins with creating a porcelain color layer by repeatedly casting multiple layers of pigmented colored slurry. And she designs and decorates the colors that change depending on the depth of carving, which is a daunting process of her production.
On the other hand, Mr. Hiroshi Watarai, her husband. He made the transparent glass part of stained glass himself, and it is a unique monotone work of lead-tin alloy and colorless glass.
While both of them make full use of elaborate techniques, their expressiveness such as patterns has increased and the degree of perfection of the work has been improved.
