Antimicrobial and antiviral materials will be showcased and introduced in the Material Showroom. Stop by to see materials that deal with bacteria and viruses in a plethora of ways, ranging from technologies that suppress bacteria and viruses via reactive oxygen species generated by metal ions to composite materials derived from marine mineral components with antibacterial and antiviral capabilities, high performance engineering plastics that bacteria can't adhere to easily thanks to surface repulsion from polymers, and films that get their antimicrobial capabilities from biomimetics.
During this time, some materials from the Material Library will also be shown in the showroom.
