Haruka Sano Ceramic Exhibition

Sano's first exhibition in seven years will be held at Savoir Vivre. Sano has been working on the ceramic boxes through repeated trial and error to create what she feels like making now. "I have done a lot of reproductions, so I can accurately reproduce the organic lines derived from the laws of form. But I want to add something else. I try to create a shape that doesn't exist but retains a realistic look."
In this exhibition, she will also be showing some of the Japanese sake cups and other cups that she has been making in the image of Jomon earthenware, which gave her a shocking impression at the first encounter. Please visit and enjoy the exhibit.
