Aiko Hiraga likes edgy and shaded shapes such as swirls, petal gaku, fossils, and insects. She started her pottery when she encountered clay, a material that keeps her in a simple shape.
And she chooses porcelain "white", which allows her to express her beautiful shape as it is.
Hiraga has continued to produce by casting slurry, but she also challenged the technique of carving and modeling one by one for her solo exhibition. This is an ambitious first solo exhibition.
There are works that show Hiraga's individuality, such as sake sets such as sake cups and sake bottles, vases, and objects.
