Akiko Suzuki creates ceramic works by hand twisting, as if we were spinning stories one by one. The theme is events that happened around us and landscapes that remained in our hearts.
You can feel a heartwarming story and message in the everyday scenes that are naturally overlooked.
"When I move my hands, I feel calm. And the finished product makes
me admire and heal myself. No matter what happens, as long as I live, the morning will come and yesterday. A slightly different new day begins.
[And life continues] I really like this word. "
In this solo exhibition, in addition to music boxes, lids, bean dolls, and wall-mounted works, soba chocolate and other vessels will be exhibited.
Perhaps each piece contains a dear and faint piece of memory.
It's a soothing exhibition every time.
